A big idea helps rev up interest in the Byron Nelson Championship.

Mike Minchew needed a big idea to rev up interest in the Byron Nelson Championship golf tournament, and he delivered. He commissioned the renowned Orange County Chopper guys to build 3 custom Byron Nelson motorcycles to raise awareness around the EDS/HP-sponsored event and hired our very own Michael Cummings to document the story.

  3. Hi Daniel,

You could try using the "update" feature of the Windows Media Player. Occasionally, other programs take over the default codecs used by the Windows Media Player in Vista, and the result is a green video area.

  4. Miller,

Adding to my comment to Daniel, also check to see if the Media Player is set to handle WMV types and not another player like VLC, or Winamp. In Vista or Windows 7 hit the Start Icon and type "default programs", highlight Windows Media Player, set associations for a program, then make sure WMV is one of them.
For XP, while in file explorer choose folder options, then file types, WMV, and associate it with Windows Media Player.

  5. The videos have been changed over to Flash, so the Windows Media Player is no longer required.
